TMZ claims the babies were born premature and are being kept “under the lights,” a reference to a phototherapy procedure used to treat newborn jaundice. The condition is said to be common among premature babies and not often serious. TMZ originally reported last week that Beyoncé and the twins had to stay in the hospital longer than originally planned due to a “minor issue,” and this could possibly be that issue. The anonymous source told the outlet the babies were born on Monday, June 12th, and have been in the hospital ever since. Beyoncé's health is reportedly doing just fine, though she did not come to full term.
