Scalpers Try To Sell Manchester Benefit Tickets, And Get Stopped

ticket resellers in England have banded together to keep scalpers from trying to re-sell tickets to Ariana Grande’s “One Love Manchester” benefit on Sunday. Unfortunately some unscrupulous folks are still trying to make a profit off the tickets.

Tickets for the show sold out in just six minutes yesterday and not long after that several listings for tickets started popping up on eBay, Facebook and other places, with some folks trying to sell them for as much as $770 bucks a pop.

But even those sites are trying to fight back. eBay was quick to announce on Twitter that they were deleting all listing for re-sale tickets and asked for people to stop trying to resell them on their site.

“Please do not attempt to sell #OneLoveManchester tickets on our site. We are actively removing all listings & restricting sellers who try to,” the company posted. “This is completely against eBay rules. We are immediately removing all listings which attempt to profit unfairly from what happened.”
