Ed Sheeran Sets Record Straight On Engagement Rumors

Ed Sheeran is shooting down a report that claimed he was engaged to girlfriend Cherry Seaborn. The rumor got started when Russell Crowe gave an interview about his friendship with Ed and referred to Cherry as Ed’s “fiancée.” 

Well, Ed set the record straight during a Brazilian interview, explaining that it was all just a misunderstanding.

“He (Crowe) emailed me about it to say sorry,” Ed explained. “He’s only met Cherry once and I didn’t introduce her, I didn’t say anything... I think he just assumed, but no – we’re not engaged.”
