Taylor Swift allegedly wrote the song “Bad Blood” about her feud with Katy Perry and now, in a new interview with “Entertainment Weekly,” Katy is hinting that she may have responded with a song on her upcoming album.
When asked about whether she planned to retaliate on the record, Katy first tried to avoid discussing whether Taylor’s song is even about her. “Well that’s not my question to answer — if it’s about me,” she says. “I think [my new album is] a very empowered record. There is no one thing that’s calling out any one person.”
But then Katy seems to change her tune a bit. “One thing to note is: You can’t mistake kindness for weakness and don’t come for me,” she says. “But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don’t forget about that, okay, honey." She adds, "We got to keep it real, honey. This record is not about anyone else! This record is about me being seen and heard so that I can see and hear everyone else!”
