Ed Sheeran Settles Lawsuit Over "Photograph"

Ed Sheeran has settled a copyright lawsuit that alleged his tune “Photograph” was a rip-off of the 2009 track "Amazing,” penned by Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard, and recorded by 2010 “The X Factor” winner Matt Cardle.

The writers, along with their publishing company HaloSongs, were seeking $20 million in their lawsuit but the sides have come to an agreement and court papers were filed to dismiss the case with prejudice.

Terms of the settlement were not released.
