Britney Spears’ upcoming concert in Israel has become an issue in an upcoming election. Seems Israel’s Labor Party has postponed their July 3rd leadership election because of her show. According to reports, the election was moved to July 4th because of a "major event,” in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park, and that event is Britney.
“Labor’s electoral committee said that [Britney’s] concert would cause traffic jams and make it hard to find security guards for polling stations, because many of them would be working the concert,” the Times UK reports. “Party activists said that they also worried that prospective voters would want to attend the event.”
