Chance The Rapper Is Helping More Schools

One rapper’s efforts to help his hometown school system is working.

After donating one million dollars to the Chicago School system of which he’s a product, Chance the Rapper is going bigger in his effort to save the schools. Chance has created the New Chance Arts and Literacy Fund to benefit arts education in Chicago Public Schools.

Several of his celebrity friends, including Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, and Hannibal Buress, have donated to the cause, bringing the total amount raised to $2.2 million to date.

Chance is also letting fans help out with his website Social Works.
