Selena Gomez is on the cover of “Vogue” this month, where she opens up about her struggles with self-confidence.
Despite having thousands of fans come out to see her every night on tour, Selena says she was still dealing with some major anxiety. “Tours are a really lonely place for me. My self-esteem was shot,” she says. “I was depressed, anxious. I started to have panic attacks right before getting onstage, or right after leaving the stage.”
She goes on to say that she felt she just wasn’t good enough, wasn’t capable. "I felt I wasn’t giving my fans anything," Selena explains. "And they could see it, which, I think, was a complete distortion.”
