Lady Gaga will perform alongside Metallica at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night. She will likely be providing vocal support for Metallica lead singer James Hetfield, who was forced to postpone a recent concert due to doctors putting him on vocal rest.
The Gaga and Metallica team-up joins a long list of previously-announced performers scheduled for the event including Adele, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, John Legend, The Weeknd, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Chance the Rapper, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, Anderson .Paak, Maren Morris and Katy Perry. The Metallica/GaGa performance caps off a busy week for the pop star, who of course performed during the halftime show of Super Bowl LI and then announced a new world tour immediately afterwards.
