VIDEO: Oklahoma Officer Shot During Traffic Stop Proposes During Concert

On June 29, 2020, two officers from the Tulsa Police Department pulled over a vehicle. The driver refused to get out of the car and obey commands which resulted in a struggle.

The driver, David Ware, then pulled out a gun and shot both officers. Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan were both shot multiple times. Sgt. Johnson sadly passed away from his injuries Officer Zarkeshan spent several months recovering and is now back to work with the Tulsa Police Department.

He was honored during Blake Shelton's concert in Tulsa on Friday night.

He decided to take things a step farther and proposed to his girlfriend during the concert from the front row! Check out the video below:

"SHE SAID YES!

In the words of Blake Shelton, “I don’t want to love nobody but you.”

A big congratulations to Officer Aurash Zarkeshan on his engagement. On the front row of the concert tonight, Officer Zarkeshan proposed to his longtime girlfriend at the BOK Center.

We told you last week, Shelton is honoring local heroes on each stop of his tour. For Tulsa, he chose Officer Zarkeshan, who also received front-row tickets, and the Bank of Oklahoma donated $5,000 to a charity of his choice. Officer Zarkeshan chose the TPD Foundation."
