You’d think anyone would want to sing with Christina Aguilera if they had the chance, but apparently even she gets turned down now and again.
It seems Christina recently stopped into a bar in New Orleans ahead of her Liberation Tour stop in the city, and when she tried to join the house band on stage she was turned away. The whole thing was caught on video by a fan, who shared it on Twitter.
Christina later detailed the incident during her show at the Saenger Theater. “I go to this bar and there’s like this live band playing, and I was just like… with a couple of my dancers,” she told the crowd. "He was a little older… he was not feeling it… he was not going to give up his mic. So [being here] is very nice, I was just like… I’ll save it for tomorrow.”
