Britney Spears has announced her newest fragrance, “Prerogative,” in a series of provocative trailers posted on Twitter.
The scent, named after her 2004 hit remake of Bobby Brown’s song “My Prerogative,” comes with a personal message, not unlike the 23 perfumes she has released since 2004. Spears says the unique fragrance is all about being bold, “It’s about saying, ‘This is what I’m going to do without any judgements.” The pop superstar hopes that men and women alike will connect with the message, marketing the scent as gender-neutral.
Britney Spears’ “Prerogative” fragrance will be available at Walmart this month and Kohl’s in August, both in store and online.
