The disappointing numbers for “Solo: A Star Wars Story” has snapped Lucasfilm back to their main priorities.
They are holding off on creating anymore "A Star Wars Story" spinoff movies. Projects about Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and other characters were in the works, but the production company said those will have to wait so it can focus on "Star Wars: Episode IX [[ nine ]]."
Lucasfilm just released "Solo: A star Wars Story" last month, and the film has pulled in over 300 million dollars worldwide, which was still under projections. "Episode IX" is set to come out in December 2019.
