Fifth Harmony Talk About Meaning Behind VMA Performance

Fifth Harmony seemed to take a dig at former member Camila Cabello at the MTV Video Music Awards when, at the beginning of their performance, a fifth member seemed to fly backwards off their raised stage. But the girls in the band insist the moment wasn’t directed specifically at Camila, and was more of an “artistic” statement.

“We get asked all the time if we're getting a fifth member, and we wanted to show the world in an artistic way that, hey, the four of us are Fifth Harmony,"Ally Brooke shares on “Good Morning America.” “We're stronger and better than we've ever been."

She adds, "Honestly, it was such a monumental moment for us. We were at the VMAs. We had rain. We had the splits. We had a mic drop!"
