Imagine Dragons are now on their own when it comes to Hot 100 longevity.
"Billboard" says the Las Vegas rockers' hit "Radioactive" is on the chart for a record 77th consecutive week, breaking the tie it was in last week with the previous record-holder, Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours."
Frontman Dan Reynolds says the news is "unbelievable," admitting that he and his bandmates never expected one of their songs to "have legs like this."
Reynolds adds that there are few things more satisfying than seeing your music have longevity. He says people seem to be connecting to "Radioactive" in personal ways, which is exactly what they wanted.
