(Washington, DC)  --  Washington, DC Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis was reported to be in contact with an electronic surveillance and mind control support group two weeks before he carried out his rampage last month.  The "New York Post' obtained his correspondence to the group Freedom from Covert Harassment and Surveillance.  In three emails, Alexis claimed the Navy was conducting Extremely Low Frequency research on him and others, and that it induced voices in his head.

While the emails suggest a motive of revenge, the FBI maintains the shooting was random.  Alexis killed 12 people at the Washington Navy Yard before police shot and killed him.
